How we soft wash, and why

We built the business around that rule because the most common exterior cleaning mistake we see is the wrong method on the wrong surface. A pressure washer is the right tool for a concrete driveway. It's the wrong tool for a roof, vinyl siding or stucco, and it's how a lot of homes end up with stripped shingles, cracked panels or water behind the walls.

What we believe about cleaning a home

The growth is the problem, not the dirt. Most of what makes a house or roof look bad is algae, mildew and moss. If it isn't killed at the root, it comes back. So we treat the growth instead of blasting the surface. How soft washing differs from pressure washing.

Every surface gets its own method. Asphalt shingles, cedar, vinyl, stucco, EIFS and aluminum all react differently. We match the solution and the rinse to what your home is made of.

Your yard matters as much as your house. Plants, lawn and pets are part of the job. We protect them before we start and rinse them again when we finish.

What happens on the day

1. We arrive, walk around the home and confirm the plan with you (or with the notes you left if you're not home).
2. Plants and lawn are soaked with water, and anything delicate is covered.
3. The cleaning solution goes on at low pressure and is given time to work.
4. Everything is rinsed gently, plants included.
5. We walk the property to check the result, and send you an update if you weren't there.

Home problems don't keep office hours, and neither do the people who own the homes. You can call us or request a quote at any hour, and a person will get back to you. The washing itself happens in daylight and good weather, but getting help shouldn't have to wait until Monday morning.
